Book Drive - September 17

Adrian Morning Rotary, in partnership with the Adrian District Library and Artalicious, is hosting a book drive to collect gently used and new children’s books. The book drive will be held during the Artalicious Fine Arts Fair on Saturday, September 17 from 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., behind the Adrian District Library, 143 E. Maumee St. in Adrian. Members of Adrian Morning Rotary will be outside the library near the back entrance and parking lot off of Toledo St.

“We know the libraries are used because we have to stock them at least twice per month. They are accessible in some locations that are economically challenged and where a walk or a ride to the public libraries are not available,” said Idalí Feliciano, co-president of Adrian Morning Rotary. “We have put about 20,000 new and used books in our Little Free Libraries since 2015. There is little more rewarding than putting books in the hands of children."
